Wow...

First impression, Its about time, he got what he deserved. (edited to make more clear)

Second thought, I wonder if the corpora supports that. -- You can take a man out of amtgard but you can't take the amtgard out the the man.

1st some context would be good.

In response to the criminal action of extortion, Lief McPayne is hereby banished from participation in Amtgard in the Empire of the Iron Mountains for a period of 1 year.
Additionally, his Titles and belts of Knighthood are suspended indefinitely.

DO'h. Sorry Meddy it should read "it couldn't have happened to a better person."

and to be clear I am saying that I can think of no better person to get banished. His actions where criminal and a blot on amtgard as a whole. I hope he takes the time to reflect on his actions rather then simply blame others for his issues.

And I am not sure what part of the corpora supports banishment (not that I have looked nor am I questioning Mosses judgement or authority). Just simply that I have missed or forgotten that section of the corpora.

If you're curious, appendix B (or c) of the corpora, titled Bylaws is the section in question. Interestingly enough the corpora leaves no room for discretion. If it is determined that a felony level crime has been committed, the person who committed said crime is banished for a year and loses all titles and belts "permanently" though they may petition the althing for reinstatement.

Appendix B. Other than that, spot on.
