haircut help!

So, I want a haircut. I really like the salon I go to, but I am broke and they always give me very...um, i guess traditional cuts. I don't know how to explain it. They do an awesome job, but they won't do crazy/funky layers or anything

Definitely cut it here! One of my biggest regrets is getting my hair cut in Moscow. They actually made it far shorter than I wanted, and didn't give me any layers -- and having everything one length is really awful for thick curls. I cut my own pseudo-bangs in the dorm mirror, but couldn't do much else except use the straightening-iron to avoid triangle-hair, and wait until it grew out. And I paid $60 for this

Many moons ago I remember someones mum saying how they always got their haircut at Blaine... that hairdressing school in Lowell. I don't know if it's the same name or what, but I'm pretty sure it was free/10 bucks to be their guinea pig. Anyway, she always got her hair cut there and was never displeased with the results.
