No, we haven't had snow yet in Moscow, nor do I want to see that white stuff quite yet. Although I've heard that it has snowed at least a couple times in suburban Boston. As much as it brought me joy to hear that Moscow is on rare occassions warmer than Boston, my entry will not be about recent weather. Instead, I'd like to inform you all about

This is strange and disturbing, ugh. :/ Thanks for writing about it, though! I'm teaching a Weather and Climate lab course next term at Hunter so I'm going to monitor this situation and can talk to my students about it. :)
