Crowley took a moment to admire the bright kalidescope of colors that splayed across the sky. A beat, a breath, and he turned his attention back to Aziraphale.
"I have to agree, my dear." He smiled a tentative smile. "It is quite exquisite."
Aziraphale cleared his throat, straightening his glasses again. He was exuding massive amounts of anxiety.
"I was, ah, thinking, sometime recently, and I realized that I..." He paused. "I miss you. When I'm not with you. I know it sounds silly, but there you are."
Crowley reached for his hand, as it fell away from his glasses. "I've been taking time away, I thought you needed time alone. I rather don't enjoy being away from you," he admitted with a sheepish grin.
"Angel, your hands are tembling." Crowley reached for the other hand, and pulled them together.
"I, ah, I don't know why I..." Aziraphale somehow felt both wonderful and miserable at the same time. Unfortunately it was the latter that was mostly showing on his face. "I'm not used to feeling so many things, Crowley, you make me feel..." He couldn't even put a word to it, but he knew that it made his hands tremble.
