I have always been in favor ot the death penalty. Even in the days when I considered myself a liberal, I still held fast to the belief that some people, through their acts, forfeit their right to exist in human society. My arguments in favor of the death penalty do not extend from a basis of deterennce. Quite simply, I am in favor of the death

The thing I dont understand is why these people didnt just give these children away? If they are so hated why not 'get rid of them'.

I'm glad I dont know anyone who harms their child like this... I dontknow what I would do.

I'm with you on this. These people are flawed; they are a disease.

I have encountered people who have abused their kids, hough thankfully not to this extent, and I have intervened by contacting the authorities, which has not done much good so far. There is one time where I ultimately did not intervene, and I pray that nothing more serious ever happens. As it is, I will never forgive myself for deciding not let it drop.

I came to your LJ by way of a friend's LJ (just clicking on names that looked interesting).

I was so horrified by this I had to stop reading. The only thing I have wanted was to be a mother, but for various reasons, motherhood (not even adoptive motherhood) is not an option for me. To read stories about these monsters destroying the only thing I have ever wanted. . .

Death isn't enough for these monsters. They deserve to die in the same horrific ways they murdered God's most precious gift.

I couldn't agree with you more. I think anyone who intentionally harms a child is beneath contempt, but to harm one's own child is unfathomable.

I don't know your situation, so I hope this doesn't offend, but I hope that you are someday able to be a mother. You sound like you would be a good one.
