For my webcomic, I use http://comiccms.com/ and it works BEAUTIFULLY. It doesn't have quite as many widgets to use, but it makes uploading comic pages ridiculously easy and customization is much much easier than with Wordpress.
Just a thought! :)
I love the character designs! The artwork on the Avalon characters is exquisite, and the Cotton Tale characters are simple but full of life. :D

Oh! An alternative!
The few things I want to add to the website is something that can separate Avalon and CottonTale. The "home" page that should appear will advertise our group and I wanted to also put in things like character profiles, galleries, etc... I'll most certainly use comiccms if it's easier, but can it do that stuff too? D=

Things are really coming along nicely for our group, I want to say. Heheheh, I'll bet it's kind of weird, though, to have more of a cartoony story paired up with a more detailed, anime-ish story in the same website!
