A response to effie214 for the comment ficathon- it was too long, so I posted it here :)

This is completely un-beta-ed (but will probably be beta-ed later!) and was written completely spur of the moment. I apologize for any mistakes- the words were just flying off the page for me.

( She walks into the release party with her heart thumping wildly; half excitement, half dread. )

Thank you!! :) Poor Beckett is waiting and waiting, and they just can't seem to get it together until the last moment, can they? ;)

(Although I want to state for the record, if we ACTUALLY have to wait this long for them to get together... I will be sad! LOL!)

Okay, I am having THE WORST DAY EVER, but you totally fixed that.

I love this. Seriously. There are so many little things to adore -- the "check yes or no" thing is BRILLIANT and so on par with her vascillating emotions. I love the "...she whispered brokenly, but had never been so whole." That? Pure gold.

And the ending is adorable.

Thanks so much for this! I couldn't have asked for a better response to my prompt.
