have you ever had so much work looming over your head that you feel like your sinking... and worse off that you cant do any of it yet... your waiting and waiting to get slammed with a work load that doesnt look like it can be finished in time but you still have to wait knowing that each day that goes by with nothing to do just means its getting

All I will say about your capabilities is.. You will know what you can handle when that time and situation comes for you to do something!

I dont really understand why you cant do these clinical hours that need to get done and why you have days with nothing to do. Explain

to do the clinical hours I have to have one preceptor... a paramedic that takes responsibility to have me there and watch over me and help me become a real medic and fill out all the paper work and all that kind of stuff... well due to circumstances that really suck i dont have one yet... so i cant do any of the clinicals until i can get one... my first prospective preceptor got called back to Iraq so hes gone... the second one they told me about already had an inhouse new hire that he was precepting... the next one i was told about wont be availiable for a month and a half and the other one is riding up to become an engineer... i have repeatedly asked my instructors to help me out b/c i have used all my resources in getting one but so far noone knows of anyone b/c all of the paramedics who are able to precept already are doing so
