Why do I always seem to hang out with the ridiculed crowd?

Okay, now I'm pissed off. I was in the bathroom in my dorm when I caught this on the mirror: 1 Peter 2:11-16. I had to look it up because lately, Erin and I have been putting a Pentacle up on the mirror just to show our faith and that we're proud. And, every time, someone erased it. As a fellow Wiccan, I can see where you would want people to accept our religion. The problem is, they don't. It is rediculous the kind of slander we hear about. The problem is the reason you did it. You were not acting on the principals of a true Wiccan. To shock and get attention is not the workings of a witch. How could you possibly believe that nobody would comment? You invited the negative energy. You can't get mad at anybody else for what you did. As much as it may upset you what they did...all they did was copy you.

Yes it's true, I was expecting comments, but my friend and I were not trying to shock anyone . Truth be told, we saw all of these crosses and someone even drew a whole bunch of religious symbols under the word "coexist" (we did find this person. She lives down the hall from me, and she's Catholic.) However, not too long after this was put up, all but the christian cross had been erased. I personally tried to find the person who kept doing things like this so that we could talk this out, but they never came forward. I even put up my name and room number. I'm not sure what it was, but we weren't trying to shock. We just thought we would be a little more accepted in what we thought was a more mature world. And what ridicule we would receive would be a little more... informed. We both saw that we were wrong. However, we did find fellow witches on the floor, so at least something good came out of it.
