What jumped right to mind was the spring of my first year of college, so that'd be spring 2001. There was one Friday or Saturday night where we chatted on IM the entire night until the sun had well risen. I was quite enamoured of you, but couldn't get my mind around your age. And my age. And what together it'd mean. But I suppose that (with the exception of never really seeing or talking to you anymore because of drift), things work out quite well. I'm engaged, you're happy in love. We're all good.

I remember throwing a snowball out of Steph's jeep at that guy in his yard and you wanted me to go back and pick it up

I remember you laughing...most of my memories of you are you laughing, even though sometimes you were very sad. I remember you were one of the first to comfort anyone and you were the sweetest person I knew.

During the matinee of Copacabana when you had nothing to do and it was a long time until I did, we went outside. It was one of the first warm days that year, so we were barefoot and sat on the railing outside the drama room. You talked about your senior year - what'd you'd miss, what you wouldn't.

That wasn't a very exciting memory.
