On the matter of Civility and other topics.
Well, my weekend was pretty good and packed with various things going on. Thursday was filled with food and fellowship shared with family and friends. Good times there. Friday was more time spent with family including a hilarious photo session. My parents bid on and won a photo session thing at a silent auction at church (raising money for something) and so since the whole family plus my bro's fiance were all in town we did that on Friday afternoon. My family is great. I love the time I get to spend with all of them. We have just a great time and we all get along wonderfully. It's really shiny. Then Friday evening I got to spend time with Jen, that was shiny too. Saturday D&D was fun but annoying since people didn't show up with characters made, we wasted several hours getting ready before getting started. Then I spent Saturday evening as well with Jen again. The only bad thing that happened this extended weekend was getting a sore throat. And on top of that, my coming week is filled with reading homework and more reading homework and paper writing and fun stuff like that. Ah well.
And on top of it this week will include the hang for lights for the dance showcase. I'm hoping to maybe resolve some issues I have with a coworker this week. Try to get things to be civil between us at least. I try to be civil, I say hello, and have a nice evening and things like that. The trouble is I don't get a response. I'm ignored as I say these things and so it's a one way effort that ultimately has become very frustrating for me. Here's to hoping things get better on that account. And that is all.
