I'd rather be in the ensemble of a show I liked. If it's a show you dislike, even if you are the lead chances are you won't put your whole self into the role like you would in something you enjoyed!

Ensemble on both counts. Somethings the littlest part can have the greatest rewards and being in a show you like always gives you the feeling of accomplishment. But having a lead in a show you dislike will definately be seen in the audience. I rather have people say "the show was great" than "the show was horrible", despite of what role i have.

ensemble totally. Leads are nice too, but ensemble is a blast. less stress sometimes. it really depends on the show. but if you are in a cast full of talented people, it doesn't matter what part you are.

First and foremost, when it comes to acting, the most important thing for me is making myself happy, if I'm not happy I won't be 110% into the performance, and in no way do I wish to put in less than my best.

Although being a lead in a show that you love rules.

that is soooo true! i have been lucky enough to do that a few times and they were such great experiences!
