As someone who has had constant face issues and been to dermatologists galore ... here are my thoughts ... don't buy into most of the advertising you see. Almost all topical treatments are the same ... just flip them over and read the ingredients. For topical treatment all dermatologists will try 10% benzoyl peroxide at night followed by 2-5% salylic acid in the morning (both following washing your face of course). It is the same stuff that clearasil, and all of those order by mail products have. Buy it over the generic stuff over the counter and use it sparingly so you dont irritate your skin and it really doesnt cost much. and the girls are right ... drink lots of water :)

How strange is it that im doing this. Seems like most products are geared towards women. Should I be using lotion too?

heh ... yea ... they are geared toward women ... cause they are faced with constant media pressure to look perfect ... but that is neither here nor there ... really ... i fight with it most cause it hurts and is really irritating ...

if you skin feels dry, then yes ... take a look at a moisturizer ... but make sure it is an oil free lotion intended for the face ...

really the best advice i can give you is dont overdo it ... a lot of people fall into a trap of washing too much and using too many products which drys out their skin or irritates it further ... if anything seems to make it worse then halt that product. some people find that certain foods irritate their skin ... others dont (dermatologists will argue to no end about whether or not foods can affect your skin quality)

good luck ... keep me posted

No wonder your nickname turned into crisco. Ken had it right, 'you tub of lard you.'

Ken was probably just being nice not saying it around you because you're so large. j/k. Actually I think I only heard it once.
