Looks like Griffins' efforts to re-establish a working record log have been successful. He'll be pleased.

Any luck sourcing that plant life the scans picked up on?

He will. We need a working log, the ones on the ship are no good to us anymore anyway.

Yes.

We need to think about more permanent living arrangements. The escape pods won't do us much good for any longer. The climate's starting to change; almost rainy season. If there is such a season here. Haven't been able to get any of the environmental scanners up.

I think that history is better left behind.

Good, do you think it will be sufficient to sustain our numbers?

From what I recall from the news reports and the mission briefings Tanis is as close a match to Earth as any other planet and many countries on Earth experience changes in seasons. I think it's safe to assume that the same can be said of Tanis.

I'll look into the living arrangements.

You don't think that people need to know about what happened onboard?

I don't know. We need to make sure that there are alternate food sources too. So far I've been unsuccessful in trying to find any kind of indigenous life-forms that would be suitable for food.

One would assume so. If that's the case, we need to start looking at protection from more extreme weather.

Thank you, Bower. Those that are left have kind of split off into small groups. And they are looking to you for leadership.
