What does your dream home look like?

This sounds like something that would appear on a school's psychological test.

Double doors (one of which is mostly ornamental and isn't used except on special occasions) opens to a foyer with marble floors. Just beyond the foyer is a large sloping staircase that looms over doors leading to different rooms; the left leads to the living room and dining/kitchen areas, the right leads to the hall. The dining room has no carpets, and is lined with cabinets filled with ridiculously expensive china. The hall to the right doubles as a ballroom an area for entertaining guests, and overlooks the garden. Oh, the hall also has a lone piano near the windows, because if in this amazing alternate universe I'm able to have my dream house then I damn well am capable of playing the piano too. As for the garden, it has a few artful topiary figures, a swing designed for adult proportions, a cosy little gazebo and a swimming pool. All the windows are tinted, and Merlin has the right to go anywhere he pleases, thanks.

My room is on the second floor, near the previously mentioned large sloping staircase that leads down to the foyer. Outside my room is the sitting room that has a humongous tv and entertainment system, all up-to-date, of course. My room is cosy, and has a four-poster bed, a balcony and a door that leads off to the most extensive private library that could ever exist in a single person's home.

So that's my dream home. It's perfect, except for the fact that I hate large houses.
