Blahhh I still need to pick up #2. My local store ran out of them and didn't restock. I'll probably buy this one anyway...
Red eyes seems to be a common thing for the New 52. Well, at least in what I've read. I wish they'd change Midnighter's and Nightwing's costumes back to the original ones. Simplicity!
I'm sort of hoping/expecting Adam One will go, based on his current role (hopefully paving the way for Angie to lead the team (or Jack, I suppose)), and since they said more than one *probably* the woman with the media powers... purely because they don't seem massively invested in her at this point.
I would be really surprised if they got rid of one of the pre-existing team... oh, I suppose Jenny's mentor could be on the chopping block too.
Hopefully killing off some of these characters means we may get Shen/one of the Doctor's back. @.@
Oh God yeah - Shen and Jeroen/Habib, where are you?!
(Actually I suspect DC's thinking is: (1) why do they need Shen when they have Hawkgirl, and (2) the Doctor can't be in the DCU until they can figure out a way for him not to pwn too many of their legacy heroes. Hmph.)
I hope to God this comes out in a trade paperback. I don't live in the USA right now, and can't get individual issues without paying like ten bucks apiece for them! But it looks like so much fun.
I love, love, love how central Apollo is. He was definitely the most maligned character in the original book. Here, he's being shoved center-stage right off. Yay!
Amen to this. Also, I have a weakness for superheroes doing superhero-y stuff in civvies, so wholeheartedly approve of Apollo blowing shit up in jeans & sneakers.
