I kind of fail at commenting on AO3 so, I'll do it here. Awesome story! I love how it's not a magical quick-fix, and how they both stayed perfectly in character. It's been far too long since I've read such a good Apollo/Midnighter fic.

Thank you! One of the things I always loved about Midnighter and Apollo's relationship was that it wasn't perfect and they did fight and make up and stay together despite it all. So I wanted to try and capture a little of that.

Agree about the lack of Apollo. Ennis just plain doesn't like the character so no surprise there. It was a major weakness in an otherwise fairly decent comic. (The kill Hitler storyline was an amazing lulz-parade.)
