It's been a really long time since I've written. Sometimes I thought about sitting down and writing an update or posting something else either silly or meaningful, but I was just too exhausted or not in the mood

the job i imagine you in is as a high school teacher. i think you'd be a kickass teacher!

Haha... high school? I don't think I'd fit in at a high school. You kinda have to celebrate mediocrity there, and you have to deal with many more angry parents...and angry students who really don't want to be there.

I'd love to teach at some point, but I would prefer at the college level.

Both my mom and my sister were/are teachers... so was Gizmo :P I've seen the hell they go through for so little money. And I think my mom would have a heart attack if I were to teach. I know I've mentioned it to her before, and she always gets this depressed tone in her voice.

But either way, as long as I'm doing something I love in an environment I enjoy...I'll be happy.

Did you know that my parents met as teachers?

Even though you have to settle with mediocrity at the high school level, you also have the opportunity to mold and shape children at their most impressionable ages of their lives. I remember a few teachers that strongly influenced me and am forever indebted.

I think you'd be a good teacher b/c you don't take crap from others and tell it like it is. I think you're the only girl i know that fought back at Bosskos with him respecting your voice. Imagine all the fine young men you could mold from mediocrity?!!!
