This weekend I received an unexpected voicemail from a person from my past. In the message, the person went on to apologize for some uncalled for things that he had said and done. One of my biggest pet peeves has got to be inconsiderate people in movie theaters. ... you're driving and something happens that you should honk at but you're so flustered that you don't honk right away and by the time you realize you should honk your window of opportunity has passed and the honk would be deemed awkward and inappropriate?

I don't. Mostly because I don't drive.

It never fails to impress me how far my sphere of influence inadvertently extends.  Even so, I've got to admit, wielding that kind of unintentional power can be more than a little intoxicating.

...or maybe it just ends up feeding my tubby-wubby little ego.
