I was supposed to go clubbing with some girls from my Biology class (I've never been clubbing before, but they asked so I thought it could be fun, right?). But then I came home and turned on the news.

Heath Ledger died so I'm calling in sick for tonight and eating ice cream on my bed curled up with The Master.

God, I know. He was one of my first childhood crushes when I was like, ten, and saw him in Ten Things I Hate About You. I can't believe it.

Mine too. I totally fell for him in that movie and thus had to watch everything he did after.

He was just so talented and... I wished I owned Ten Things... I'm totally craving a good romantic comedy after Brokeback Mountain and my A Knight's Tale disc keeps messing up.

I think I'm definetly going to have to look into that.

Its not the best laptop in the world, but its my baby. I think it could handle it.

Oh goodness, I know! And especially following that big worry about him being dead because of the Terry Gilliam film he was in! I thought it was all just some joke until I found out, and with the Dark Knight coming out so soon.

It's definitely an upsetting prospect.

All of the sad scene in Brokeback Mountain are just that much harder to watch.

I think I need a Heath Ledger movie night. And a lot more ice cream.

Oh, I'm sorry hun. I don't think more ice cream is going to help though! I'd stick to the one pint, and maybe put it on top of a warmed brownie? That way you'll have something warm to associate with?

A warm brownie would be amazing, but I can hardly finish half of this pint! I always over estimate how much my stomach can handle.

I think I'll give the rest to the mast. It's mostly vanilla, which can't hurt a kitten, right?

You know, my favorite Ben and Jerry's flavor has to be the Creme Brulee! It's amazing. You have to try it some time.

I couldn't believe it when I heard about Heath Ledger. It's so sad...and poor Michelle and the baby!

I haven't tried that one yet, but I think I've made my rounds on about ten different flavors of Ben & Jerry's over the years! Kind of in love with it. Will totally get my hands on a Creme Brulee soon. Maybe over the weekend when I have an extended Heath marathon in memory.

Oh, I know! It's just such a tragedy.

It's awful, isn't it? I don't usually give a flip about celebrities, but I actually liked that guy. I was really looking forward to "The Dark Knight;" now I don't know if I can watch it.

How hard is it, really, to not do drugs? Seems like they'd go out of style after so many people die from it.

Did they figure out that's what he died from?

I heard suicide. Sleeping pills. Health problems.

Some people were saying he was big on sobriety and other people were saying he wasn't.

I don't get it! And I'm really going to hate how much this is going to be in the news for the next few weeks. It's hard enough to deal with for the family without all of the media coverage.
