Um, hello. I haven't seen the lyrics for this song anywhere, even though it's one of my favorites, so I thought I'd make myself useful. Track 5 on Pulse, Kagami. Please enjoy. (And anyone who speaks better Japanese than I do, feel free to correct.)

I'm afraid I meant that in the rhetorical sense :) Surely the door is a device here, maybe one used to magnify the dualism he had established in the earlier verses.

Well, at least I think so, since it reads quite smoothly and there isn't any awkward phrasing. You should post more translations when you can!

Also, it occurs to me that the kagami/mirror is a (prominent, I think?) symbol in Shinto - it's part of the shrine, and... gah, I'd have to look it up again to give any details/speak with authority, but. That association might be worth noting.
