Cons should be mostly fun even on while running the con as a staffer even if you don't see everything and might miss a few events due to getting things done, but ensuring that everyone coming to your event is having a good time. Politics brought in the mix never works well, which has been proven several times over and over

Okay, I loke, really need to knwow hat the fmeck is going on ... I'm hearing wild stories of e-mails and rumors but for some reason none of them are getting to me. WTF is going on.

I know enough that I am tired of the backstabbing and stupidity. I know Jim is very very tired of the stupidity and people being hard on him. He has done a lot of work to keep the con going, but the general concept that he don't do anything is very old to him as well.
