I think it is essential to note that my English teacher has just started up a 'Grand Opera Breakfast Club' every Thursday morning! *Squee*

Anyone else incorporate TB8 events in day to day life?

Yes, now that you mention it. My English teacher has also started up a Grand Opera Breakfast Club every Thursday morning. Crazy. It's like we are living parallel lives or something.

Woah! Was it crazy or somewhat of a let down?

It was basically just strong booze (very strong) and the vaguely licoricey flavor isn't to my taste. But I had to try it. I'm a trier. I've tried durian. When I was 8 years old I ordered escargots just so I could say I'd had them (liked `em, too). When I was 10 I tried sushi for the first time. By my early teens I was preparing my own calamari.

Oh my god! what a coincidence! :D

Sharne, I was wondering why you were so un-into the idea. I am so sorry, we never meant to exclude you from anything. Please come, it will be grand. Also, I am terribly sorry about my perpetual foot-in-mouth status. I seriously never meant to hurt your feelings.

This is my first post, and the best way I can say that I relate to the book is that my friends and I are eletists. That is the reason this boook was given to me by my older sister. She told me this book reminded her of my friends, which I was half flattered by, and a little upset because well...we've never killed anyone.

I'm really glad that this group was brought to my attention though, because I don't know anyone who has read the book aside from my sister, and I really enjoyed it.

My friends and I have a Grande Opera Dinner Society (G.O.D.S.), which sort of combines the dinner parties and the opera.

I call one of my online-type-friends Natasha.

..That's not very good, is it?
