I've been thinking recently, and I would like to ask a question: Why aren't ants fat ( Read more... )

Look at the ants on the floor; they work real hard lifting threetimestheirmassandsometimesmooore.. fight_for_it October 17 2004, 09:06:47 UTC
This has the vague semblance of a college essay. It's probably more likely that my mind's just off, considering that I should start ...now. Eh. I can do without school for a year.
You write so interestingly. I write so dryly with forced humor. So! The best way to learn is to observe? Something.
. Scientists would be out of a job if they figured everything out in the universe
And, that is why one should be wary of doctors. It's strange how many things I've thought are dangerously close to your thoughts. :\
You definitely get awesome-points for that, though. And I'll stop. I'll stop. ..Something.

The ants go marching two by two, huzzah, huzzah... thebasselope October 17 2004, 18:08:19 UTC
It would help if it had a point. But it really doesn't, except that I didn't feel like talking about my day.
Forced? Not at all. It's hilarious, because you are hilarious. And, um, you wrote it. ... I love reading what you write. It always brightens my day.
...I do not know. I do not know. Psychic? Or just plain weird.
I should not write when I am tired. <3. =)

Well, I don't think I've written a paper before the night before it is due yet this year. Woot. I'd add "before midnight" to that as well, but no one needs to know that.

Yesterday my dad was talking to me about how his grandmother burned everything because she believed eating non-cooked food would kill you (see, I listened =-O ) and out of nowhere I just asked him "Do cockroaches fart?" Then we had a huge discussion on whether they do or don't and I am so off subject so I shall stop.

Hah. He probably deserved it. For um, something. Right? Right. *Nods decisively*
Hehehe. My grandmother painted all the furniture when she got bored. They're such interesting creatures. Grandmothers, not cockroaches. Speaking of which, why cockroaches? and not, say... um. Ants? Or beetles. Roly-poly bugs. Hmm.

I would say it jumped into your mind, but cockroaches do not jump. Now, if we had been discussing crickets...
Okay, that was bad. My apologies. Replace: "Roly-polies are indeed adorable."

The ants don't eat the food, what really happens is I shrink down to their size and fight them all with a tiny katana, so i can I get grain of sugar back. Or it's because all that food goes to the queen, not the ants. And the queen is one huge bitch.

Jackie, coming from a man who is...well...you know..anorexic depite the fact that I consume more food than most teenagers now...I can honestly say that simply the ants walk so far that they burn off the fat that they eat. See?
