i think it covers the heard, heavy, & ugly pretty well. maybe coulda used some flipper, but oh well.

at the very least, startin out with the berzerker will make him take a step back.

i woulda done a dark tranquillity track instead of in flames, and if we're doing groups fronted by nonhumans, hatebeak is so much cooler than caninus. every mix ever should have "metal warriors," though.

i'll have to check out hatebeak. i am not a huge caninus fan, but i felt young connor should be introduced to the bizarre world of animal-metal.

to be perfectly honest, eh. i certainly don't have the huge boner over them that a lot of people seem to. i'd go so far as to say that the overwhelming majority of their songs are pretty bad, but they have a few that i absolutely love - countess bathory, don't burn the witch, heaven's on fire, and leave me in hell are the only songs from them i like at all, but those four are all knockouts, especially the riff at the beginning of "countess bathory."

the song "welcome to hell." that one's really good as well. i'd ysi it, but i don't actually have that on this comp. behemoth did a pretty cool cover of it as well.
