i haven't seen it either, but in the original, it just happens because hell is full.
so the evil souls have nowhere to go, so they are stuck in the bodies.
this is why when anybody dies, they become an evil zombie.

i thought it would be more scary. but it was more blood n guts, just killing spree than anything. i agree with the whole no story line thing. but i didnt think it was that terrible. originals are always better ♥
