[well this was the worst possible thing that could happen. ever.
It was fine. It was fine, except for the fact that things had the habit of always turning to the worst possible thing, and now Kyoko was alone again. Sayaka, too. Kyoko hated it.
[Naoki's out and about wandering the city, as well, since his strange appearance in it. His Pokémon are left back in the inn, so they can lounge to their hearts content.
He spots Hiro after a bit, blinking (doesn't recognise him immediately, thanks to his posture). A guy sitting like that doesn't look like a happy one at all. He debates internally for a few moments and then wanders closer. Invites himself onto the other end of the bench, sitting with his hands clasped between his knees. And, not wanting to pry but at the same time not able to just walk past, he says,]
[Hiro looks over at Naoki, his expression... unreadable, and stares at him in confusion for the moment. As if asking "Really?". However, he does speak after a bit.]
[Hey, Naoki's always found the best for such a downcast mood is being distracted from it for a little while. (That, and he's not comfortable asking what's wrong.)]
[It takes Gemini a while to reply back to his text since... She was busy crying over it. The fact that her life had to end quickly just wasn't fair at all.]
Hiro... I'm... really sorry. [There was so much more she wanted to say. And she honestly felt pathetic for typing those words like they were a magical charm to make him suddenly feel better, but... That was all she could do.]
[Hiro, unfortunately, doesn't know that Gemini knows, or he might be able to say something more appropriate here. As it is, it's something they'll probably have to cover together later.]

I know it's not much, but if you need to talk to someone, I'd be glad to hear.

Right now though, I'd just be a downer.

I refuse to. You're important too.

fortunately it's text, so hiro doesn't have to see any of that. had she been saying it, her voice would be somber. instead, he gets a mere:]
It's fine.
[yeah, he was way too nice. it's hard to stay mad with that.]

Just remember that.
