I am in about a month or so going to pull out my tranny (99 civic si) and replace my broken stock differential with a itr differential and then in the process I am goin to make a hybrid tranny as you have explained above. Since I was able to get a whole gear set off a 92 ls tranny, would it be possiable to use the 5th & the 2nd gears off the cable tranny into the hydrolic tranny?

nice write up, but type r motors have fuel cut off at 8500 i think.... maybe you could update for type r?

this is an awsome guide. just what i was looking for. U going to school for engineering bense? i was wondering if u get time if u could include some nformation about bering interchangeability for the b series cable and hydro. preferably for a b16 cable y1 (thumbup)

hey man u should have the older b series cable trannies on here i got a b16a3 with b16b pistons runin 11.9 comp and i got the first cable trans and them gears are so short u need to get the ratios up here

I stumbled on this doing reserch for a car I'm putting together trying to set it up for best overall performance using an A1 trans and a B16 engine im supercharging it and having problems launching it and from the looks its gonna be opening the waste gate for traction.

I agree 100% about the tranny thread on Ht. I am one of those question askers with no where to ask them. Really good write up the mathematical eqautions really help.

to bring back this thread from the dead i have a gsr yrdo tranny and im really think about using b16 3rd and 4rd gears and a lsd also what do you think good or bad also well this be better then reguler gsr tranny or worse also what do you think about lsd and which one i was think about quadlife lsd maybe itr but what exact part do i need

also using b16 3rd and 4th well that fit in my gsr caseing thanks
