Fugazi are one of the few 80's hardcore bands I've listened to. I've always meant to check out Kid Dynamite but I've never got around to it. I believe my brother has their entire discography, if you are interested... ;D

It's hard to find out stuff about Daughters and the most I've got is that their live shows are absolutely disgusting. It's all very intriguing... haha!

I've found a way to bring home all the music I downloaded apart from the screwed up 7 Seconds album I got, so you can hear some when you get back. They're the absolute CRACK. This album's a best-of-b-side-live-tracks album so it's a bit all over the place but Heart-A-Tact is an incredible song, as is Two For Flinching and Scarysmurf. I really want Shorter, Faster, Louder. And their S/T obviously but ARGH! So elusive!

Fugazi are awesome. My cousin who I properly talked to for the first time last night saw them like 9 years ago in Edinburgh. Jammy git!
Best 80s hardcore band personally is a toss up between Minor Threat and Ill Repute (OXNARD!!!!!!!)
SSD are kinda fun too. Bit more dirgy.

Your cousin has seen them live? That is just... legendary! I'm laughing at Minor Threat because of the song Miner Threat by x one way x. Al Roker is a fucking sellout! ;D

Definitely want to listen to more 80's hardcore so we should have a hardcore 80's hardcore sesh. (see what I did there?)

Yeah, he was also at the converge gig that Mike and all that went to. He's not a huge hardcore kid but he's also going to Dillinger Escape Bawbag in November and it'd be kinda cool to go to that so I can say hello!
