Look. [And she holds up a book of black and white photography. Mapplethorpe, to those who might notice. Jane actually sounds...happy.] So, the later Previous were useful after all. At least, some of them were. This is exquisite.

You are his warden, madam? Aye, you may ask me, though I fear I might not be of much help.

He worked for the household, though answered directly to my husband. He was sent to us by the King's nephew, a former employeer of his whilst in Bohemia or Bavaria, I suspect.

Oh. He did mention most of that. I actually care more about how he was while he was there.

[Jane waited up on deck casually, flipping through her book while she sat waiting for him. She liked being up on deck. She would have preferred the CES, but Sexby couldn't get in there and she really didn't want to go there unless she knew that he wouldn't try to run away. Not that he'd get far, but she didn't want to chase him.]

[She looked up once when he arrived and closed her book.] I want you to tell me what you think you've done first. Because knowing what you're doing wrong and doing it anyway is very different than doing something without knowing why it's wrong.

No, he's actually quite clever. I am a little put out at him at the moment, though.

I know how to take and develop photographs.

...no, I know that it is. I just-nevermind. What did he do?

And I'm sure a lot of people can do that, George. I meant to do it as art.

He was less than honest with me about something.

Oh. No, I'm certainly not an artist.

Oh. I didn't think he would be a liar.

I think that's already been established. But...what do you take photographs of?
