Real Journal Entry

Aug 13, 2005 23:29

Okay, it's time I wrote a normal journal entry about the gist of what happened today (Saturday), though there's not much to tell, really. All right, here I go. I started the day out with--guess what--LJ’ing. It’s too much fun already! Let’s see ... more LJ’ing. ... I’ve been debating whether or not I ever ate breakfast today. (Korina, that’s ( Read more... )

I heard that somewhere--probably during my time in TX. Hmm, I was wondering what wally world meant in your other journal entry.

I heard one of my friends calling Wal-Mart wally world one time and I guess they said it so much I started.

I call it Wally World, too.

Too bad it wasn't founded by a guy named Wally.

Lol, interesting post. :)

Yes, I can relate with the messy dresser-top thing. :\

Weirdness, indeed. Sometimes I wish I hadn't picked this username. :\ Sort of. :)

Did you realize that Elvis Presley did actually sing gospel before he went with the Rock? I heard some of it and it is pretty good. I have a CD of his back up singing group,(The Jordanairs) back when he was still in the gospel singing.

Howdy, it’s good to meet another guy on here. If I could judge someone by their smile, I’d say you’re a really nice man. Like the beard, btw. Do you have one by conviction? I’ve never met anyone outside of our family that has a conviction about that...

No, actually. I thought all of the gospel singing was done much later in his career.

I didn't do much research into Elvis so it sounds like you probably know more about it than I do.

About the beard. I don't feel it's a salvation issue by any means, however most men in the Bible wore one from what I can tell and it is more natural. I guess I don't grow one for a fad but I don't like to put a whole lot of emphasis on it. Where I was raised the beard for men was mandatory at age 18 so that is where I first grew it but later I could have shaved but I just didn't feel I had any good reason to, so I didn't. I guess I have made up my mind to continue growing one since Summer likes it too. Even though that may not be a good reason I have to admit it is one of them all the same. lol

No, it certainly isn’t a salvation issue :-)

I just noticed you on my "friends of" list so I decided to check out your journal, and after reading your post and being reminded of Missy's recent posts I put 2 and 2 together and figured out, O, you must be Joel, her older brother!! :) I guess you are my age too (I think she said you're 23.)

But, this one (called “zzzz”) was not the best. It was about--ahem (Missy, no offense, I’m serious)--an entomologist who found a way to hear bees (looked like honeybees) speak in English, and a woman who really wasn’t a woman but was the conniving queen bee in human form.

Had to smile at that; my name is also Melissa so I understood some of what you meant :)

:) Whoops, excuse me, I guess I should have written an introductory note! I'll remember to do that in the future :|

Hehe, I just thought of something. If you read this post carefully, it makes me anorexic, an amnesic, eccentric, delusional (Elvis lives!), and left handed. -Wait, scratch “left handed,” though I am.
