Are you really that melancholy? I wouldn't have thought you were *that* bad. ;)

Surprise, surprise. :) Well, there's kind of a misconception about melancholies. The melancholy personality is generally moody, but not necessarily often sad or depressed. Keep in mind that melancholies are often the more intellectual type and musical as well. (At least that's what I seem to recall from reading about them years ago.)

Personally, I don't believe it's right to ever be depressed, because that seems to be a symptom of a deficiency of faith in God's goodness and a lack of reliance on the Lord. So, I try to fight that bad emotion, and hence I probably don't seem downcast very much (hopefully because I'm not). :)

Yes, that seems like your dominant personality trait. It's not bad being a melancholy. I should know. Hehe.

But, you tied between Mel and San, as I just checked... I still maintain that your personality is MelSan, not SanMel. :)

Isn't it weird how our greatest strengths are also usually our greatest weaknesses?

*Tries to think of examples* Yes, I guess that's true. You know, one example that comes to mind is that determination/stubbornness is often very bad, but it can be channeled into something good and proper: steadfastness and determination to stand for what is right.
