Hey, these are really great! I love those, some of them I did not yet know. :-)

Only some of them? Don't tell me you knew most of them. :) That would be surprising.

Oh, one question for you, out of curiosity... Of what ethnicity is the name Hsu? It sounds maybe Chinese.

Yes, I had heard quite a few of them before. :-) But I tend to really like quotes, so I know a few.

Hehe, and, yes, you have been doing your research, Hsu is Chinese. The Pinyin is Xu. :-)

OK, I'm too nosy probably, but you are somewhat mysterious... ;) Where you born in the US? And, what does "The Pinyin is Xu" mean? It sounds like maybe you speak Chinese. Oh, and what's your SS#?

Whoa, some of those are very deep, and I'm so dense sometimes. I'll have to think them through really slowly, but some of them I got almost right away. I'll get back to you on the ones that just went over my head (lol, I actually saw this post before but quotes are often deep so that's why I didn't get back to it till now) but for now...

Any man is guilty who knows more than he performs.

That reminds me of...
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." James 1:22

I consider looseness with words no less of a defect than looseness of the bowels.
-John Calvin

I didn't get that the first time I read it tonight but a second later I did, and it made me laugh. It's funny but so true.

I would not give one moment of heaven for all the joy and riches of the world, even if it lasted for thousands and thousands of years.

Whoa, late response... :(

I collected most of these quotes almost a year ago, and printed them out for myself to read and learn.

Have you ever read Matthew Henry? He's always got such edifying things to say, rich with meaning, but his writings are somewhat hard to understand at times.

Yes, Mark is an older brother. I've got the whole clan listed in my bio. I've four brothers and three sisters.

Wow! That's a nice big family (as I believe Missy told me about before). Where are you in the birth order? (Let me guess: 7th youngest?)

Third oldest, oldest girl. :) You must be 2nd youngest, because Missy said recently that she's the youngest, and you're only a couple of years older. Then again just maybe there's another in-between you two. :)

I can't remember if I've ever read Matthew Henry but I have definitely heard of him.

I recently met a family with 15 children. :D

I figured you couldn't be the oldest--that would leave a bit too little time between each birth. Yes, I'm the 2nd youngest--youngest guy.

15? Cool! All from the same two parents, I wonder?
