What do I come up with? ... First, though I hate to say it, the heart is desperately wicked. I'm constantly battling despicable thoughts. It makes a person want to go home to heaven all that much more. ...

Otherwise, I'm just constantly self-evaluating and judging myself. I like the verse that says, "For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged," though I can't say that's the primary reason I do it. I'm a perfectionist, essentially. So, I'm always seeking to improve and grow--in vocabulary, maturity, wisdom, kindness, etc. It's a lifelong journey. That's the "why" of it, anyway.

Volleyball. =) Yes, I'm tremendously good at it ... not. Honestly, somewhat good, I guess--and that's probably why I like it so much. We used to have a volleyball net in the backyard, and we'd play quite often. Good memories.

What? You can't figure that out? "Abstain from all appearance of evil." That about explains it all. Hehe--but, I'll expand. First, they're often associated with sodomites, and I'd like to avoid all association with them. Second, an earring on a guy looks stupid, if you ask me. Third, I just plain don't care for jewelry of any kind on myself. Fourth, it normally entails bodily damage, and I don't think that it is ever right to purposefully harm the body--without a good medical reason.
