Turns out that Tokikake clocks in at -just over- too large to burn to a DVD.
For anyone who is curious the answer to the problem was found in DVDFlick. It is a pretty rad little piece of free software that converts any random video file you put into it into a DVD format and will even burn on its own. Handy handy little app.

I'd love to burn tokikake to an actual DVD to show it to Holly (as the prospect of sitting in front of my computer doesn't really appeal to her and I don't want to figure out the nightmare of getting good sound in the living room from the computer using the TV as an out ( Read more... )

I put it back in when I got home and went to sleep and SOMEWHERE in there I drunk-dialed my buddy's ex.

Today in Chinese class we had an oral review for friday's test. I answered all the questions properly until the teacher threw me a curveball by switching the format on me. I responded in spanish, realized I'd responded in spanish and just said, "Sorry. My brain exploded." before answering the question again in Chinese.

WTF.
