our neighbors have lots of chickens. 2 of them (tweedle dee and tweedle dumb) never leave each others side. they also never leave our yard. wedensday they ate tweedle dee. which i was very excited about. later that day as i was washing dishes i was throwing left over onion bits at tweedle dumb. kris told me to knock it off, she'd had a tramatic ( Read more... )

I think the solution here is to eat more chicken. It's a really elegant solution too. Not only do you eat the cause of your guilt, but eating generally soothes feelings of guilt anyway. That's why I'm going to eat this entire jar of jelly beans. I ate one and the rest of the jar just looks too sad to live.

That's why I'm an alcoholic. Once you start a six pack, the rest of the bottles look too lonely to live. I also worry about them being cold and sad in a dark fridge - the light turns off when you close the door, you know. Best to put them out of their misery as soon as possible.
