I just overheard my coworker get excited about the fact the he is'allowed' to do something this weekend that he wants to do. Presumably he got permission from his girlfriend, soon to be wife, to do this activity. How odd is it to get permission from your partner to do something that you want to do. I mean if you want to do something that you want

Yeah, I learned quite a bit from my... "relationship" with my wife. I made many sacrifices, that at the time I thought I should have made... that in hindsight, I was very VERY wrong.

I will not be making those mistakes again.
