It's my lunch break and all my colleagues left for some farewell lunch - so I was left to eat with my book (which made me really happy, reading and eating meals alone are now kind of my favourite thing) at the cafe with the long windows where you can see the trees in the forest and the green and yellow birds and the wild chickens and everything. And now I'm on LJ which I may not have accessed for two weeks wtf! ;_;

papers are in total fail mode. i did a tonne of reading on wollstonecraft and realised that no, i don't really want to write a whole paper on her work. but she's the only feminist thinker in the whole course so i'm totally torn. i think i'm just going to pick the one i'm most comfortable with, which means all my work thus far is WASTED.

i cannot believe you've been away from lj for two whole weeks! the world! it crumbles!

but it's WOLLSTONECRAFT. didn't she have something to do with frankenstein? or was that mary shelley, oops! she was mentioned in the intro to "pride & prejudice" a lot and i remembered thinking she was very cool.

mary shelley --> frankenstein, bb! :P yeah, she's the only feminist thinker in the whole course so i was like, yeah, i'm so writing my paper on her. and then i read her work. and wanted to cry. PLAN FAIL.
