Masterpost The parlor is dead at this time a day, too many still stuck at work or in classes and Zitao is bored out of his mind. There’s a young fellow over in corner with YooChun, it’s obvious it’s his first time getting tattooed, eyes squeezed tight and mouth pressed into a thin line when YooChun finally presses the needles to the skin of his bicep. “I’m taking a smoking break hyung.” Zitao calls out to YooChun before stepping out on the street and lightening a cigarette. The weather is nice, blue sky without a cloud and almost no wind. He’s not even freezing in his tight black t-shirt and holed jeans, idly he wonders if he should head over to the dojo later and get some practice in. It has been some time since he last did.
YooChun calls for him and Zitao drops the rest of his cigarette and stumps it out with the heel of his boot. “What is it hyung?” He asks on his way in to the shop not looking up from his phone. JongDae has messaged him something he can’t bother checking what is. “There’s a lovely lady who wants to consult you about a tattoo.” YooChun gestures with his head towards the front, eyes never leaving the tattoo he’s working on. The young lad has opened his eyes and is looking on fascinated now.
Zitao turns around with customer smile in place to greet his new customer. “Oh.” He says instead of hello. It’s the smaller woman, in a cream colored sweater and a mulberry plaid skirt. She’s almost drowning in the sweater. Her cheeks are red from walking and her eyes friendly but nervous. “Hi,” she smiles and Zitao almost feels a bit blinded by the brightness. It’s not like ChanYeol’s that bulldozes over everything but it’s nonetheless bright and open. “So you want tattoo? Do you have any ideas already?” His sketchbook is already on the counter to take notes and sketch lightly from what she’s telling. “Yes. I would like to a date tattooed on my ribs in cursive.”
Quickly he motions her inside, “Well that we should be able to do right now. Come,” he sets her down at his station and asks for the date. He sketches out some different kind of fonts and shows her the different ones. She picks the most neat without too many details and Zitao guesses it fits her well. She wears no accessories and the lines of her clothes are all simple. “If you can dress down to your underwear please.” There’s a slight hesitation when her hands go to the hem of her sweater but she pulls it over her head quick enough and beneath she’s only wearing a thin silk top. There’s a cream colored cotton bra underneath and it fits her so well that Zitao can’t even think about how boring it is compared to what he likes. She looks around the parlor, eyes locking on YooChun and his customer but they’re both focused on the young fellow’s bicep with a swallow she pulls off the silk top and stands self-consciously in her plain cotton bra. There are no wires or anything in it and Zitao briefly wonders if that’s the kind of bras ChanYeol sells.
“Which rib do you want it on?” He asks. She’s so small, looking like she weighs no more than forty kilograms and if it wasn’t because he had tattooed Luhan (she weighs forty-one kilograms) he would be afraid of breaking her in two. “Is it possible to get it on my side instead?”
“Of course, where do you want it?” Her cheeks heat up considerable and with a weak hand motion she gestures to just beside her breast where her bra is covering the skin. “Can you scale it so my bra can cover it?” Her voice is a whisper, thin and airy but Zitao nods assuring. “It’ll just take two seconds.” He motions her to the chair and gingerly she sits down on it.
She startles when he speaks up, jumping slightly and eyes widening. It takes a lot for Zitao keep the grin that threatens to break out on his face down. She looks exactly like a frightened mouse. “Sorry, I didn’t catch that.”
“I asked if you could please take off your bra.” Zitao repeats easily, enjoying how violent red her cheeks turn. “Of course.” Shyly she reaches back and unhooks it, gliding it down her arms before covering her breasts with and arm. They’re quite normal in size, neither big nor small. The skin is pale like the rest of her and the nipple a faint rosa. “Right or left side?” Resolutely not looking at him she mutters out, “left” Zitao lets himself smile a little and goes over to her left side asking her to lift her arm and goes through the routine of applying the template and showing her the position asking for permission and then he starts to prepare for the needles.
“So, sorry I didn’t catch your name?” He realizes, must have been the shock over seeing a familiar face. Normally it’s the first thing he does. Introducing himself and asking for their name. It makes them feel more comfortable and safe in his presence which is crucial in this profession. “JoonMyun.”
“JoonMyun-sshi, I’m Zitao. So, JoonMyun-sshi is it okay for me to ask what the date mean? I’m going to start now okay?” He asks and waits for her nod before turning the needles on.
She never answers his question about the date, sitting completely still not a peep coming from her.
It’s routine again afterwards, how to treat it, film and payment. Slightly bewildered Zitao bids her goodbye and watches her walk out of the parlor.
Someone is sliding in beside her in psychology 02, which wouldn’t be all that weird if it wasn’t because that she’s the only one in the room and there’s over a hundred other seats vacant. There’s no one she knows taking this course too so slightly confused she looks over to the person next to her. A guy she’s never seen in her life before is staring at her with a friendly smile perched on his rather handsome face. “I didn’t know you took this class BaekHyun noona.”
“Sorry do I know you?” The smile quickly deflates and a pout replaces it. “Can’t you recognize me?” No, she wants to say and I think I would since your hair is bright red, instead she asks a bit apologetic. “Sorry, can you remind me?”
“It’s me, ByungHun. I’m the one that lives with ChanYeol noona. It’s been a long time.” Her eyes widen in shock and her voice is somehow stuck in her throat. “Tiny ByungHunnie? Wow, you’ve… Changed.” He shrugs carelessly and his hair falls into his eyes. “Got myself an extravagant boyfriend.” His voice falls quiet as he looks around the room. “Didn’t Yeol tell you? After around a billion nights standing at the very front getting squashed I got GD’s attention. I’m almost living with him now.” No, ChanYeol hadn’t and what a shame, something BaekHyun will have to beat her up for a bit. “Wow, congratulations. Damn, I can’t recognize you at all. When did you start dying your hair?”
It’s nice seeing a familiar face. She’s the only one of her friends that chose going to college, they all decided to aim for the big music career and it hasn’t happened yet. They chat for the rest of lection and BaekHyun can’t resist inviting ByungHun to their practice later that evening. Pouting he had told that ChanYeol refused to tell him where there room was, it had to be all secret or something. Which is ridiculous, ChanYeol is one big black hole when it comes to keeping secrets and it’s probably just because she’s embarrassed over what a hole in the ground the Groove is compared to ByungHun’s boyfriend’s practice place.
They part in front of the gates with a friendly wave and then she’s quickly pulled into a pair of arms and a mouth kissing her hi. “Who was that?” Yixing mutters into her mouth without letting go, she slaps him lightly when people start to look. “ChanYeol’s roommate ByungHun. He’s a hoobae from high school, I’ve invited him to see practice later.” She waits for a bit to see if Yixing has any attention if letting her go before she slaps him again and laughing he releases her. “And why are you here? Don’t you have work?” It’s not even four pm yet and BaekHyun knows for sure that the music store isn’t closed yet. “JongDae covering for me, it’s slow and I wanted to see my pretty girlfriend.”
“Oh spare my from the cheese. Do you have enough time to grab lunch or should we buy some and take it to share with JongDae?” Yixing doesn’t answer and just grabs her hand, lacing their fingers together and pulls her down the street in the direction of the store. “Luhan came with lunch earlier. Sandwiches made by KyungSoo. I saved one for you. I have a song I want you to listen to so to the store we go.”
JongDae perks up considerably when he sees BaekHyun beside Yixing. “Baaaek,” he wails as soon as they step in, “I don’t want to work anymore. Your boyfriend exploits me.” The whining continues as he throws himself pathetically across the desk. “He does all the fun work alone and leaves me to handle angry customers.”
“I’m sure it’s something you can handle, stop whining JongDae it doesn’t suit your face or voice.” BaekHyun dismisses him quickly patting him unsympathetically on the head. “You’ll live. Now I spot a customer looking for help over at the guitars.” Springing up JongDae zooms in on the helpless guy looking lost at the variety of guitars and faster than lightening (or so JongDae insist on calling him) he’s beside him, startling the poor guy with a wide smile.
“So you said you had a new song for me to listen to?” Yixing nods and leads her to the keyboard department and places her on a stool before taking place behind a small keyboard and starts playing.
BaekHyun loves watching Yixing playing, his fingers effortlessly pressing down on keys making music flow. It’s not studied and there’s a rough edge to it but it feels so much more real than the playing that she does herself. She’s played for years and knows how to read musical notes but whenever she plays it’s as if some of the magic disappears and it never does with Yixing.
It’s a short piece he plays, a slow, seducing sound. It’s feels like he’s asking her to bed and caresses her body. A shudder goes through her when she can feel heat pooling low and heat rises quickly to her cheeks when she realizes she’s getting turned on by the sound. She can’t really respond to the inquiry Yixing’s asks her when he’s done. Only mumbling out it’s good and then an excuse about going home to get some reading done before practice later.
ChanYeol looks up when the door to the store goes up and is pleased to see JongIn dancing towards her with a happy grin. She leans over the counter with a laugh and kisses her girlfriend hello. “No customers today?” JongIn asks into her mouth and ChanYeol has to almost forcefully pull away because she can’t be seen kissing someone, it’s not good for the store’s image. “Not a lot no but I had some pretty good sales today so I’m not behind.”
JongIn hums in acknowledgement before looking around the store. “You know I never got that new bra I came for last time. Not that I’m complaining about what I got instead.” She turns around to look at ChanYeol with a happy laugh. There’s a few of the sets that ChanYeol can imagine on JongIn and she has her size figured out by now. She has taken her time getting to know those wonderful plump breasts of hers after all. “Go into the dressing room and get naked or topless rather. I’ll come with a few bras for you to try on okay?” She doesn’t look at JongIn for confirmation and just goes straight to pick out some different ones. JongIn needs a lot of new bras because ChanYeol is planning on throwing all of her old ones out. It pains her to see those amazing breasts being tortured by those awfully wrong sized bras.
“I’m coming in now okay?” She calls out purely out of habit, before ducking in behind the curtain. JongIn’s standing topless like the last time except this time she looks less nervous and greets ChanYeol with a lazy smile. “Hey.”
Ignoring her job for a short while, she hangs up the armful of bras and pulls her girlfriend in for a kiss. “Damn, I’ll never get tired of kissing you.” She whispers into JongIn pliant mouth before pecking her and pulling away. “So I’ve brought in a few different kinds and a new sports bra because we’re changing your entire underwear wardrobe. I can’t look at it. It hurts to see you torture these two beauties like that.” She kisses her breasts once each. JongIn laughs and hits her on her head. “Whatever you boob maniac just get me into something.”
“You’re coming with me to practice later right?” ChanYeol asks as she rings out the eight different sets they found to JongIn. She’s pretty satisfied with the mix between comfortable and sexy. It helps when you get 70% off. “Of course, I’m here to pick you up. You don’t have to close up today do you?”
“Nope, my boss is coming in later and taking the last few hours. We’re having a special event evening so she’s taking it because I have practice. She should be here soon enough.” As soon as the words have left her mouth the door swings open and HeeChul, her boss, walks in, automatically ChanYeol greets with a bow. “Scurry off with you, I’ll take it from here.” If it hadn’t been for the professional smile she’d sent to JongIn as she walked in ChanYeol would’ve thought she hadn’t noticed her. “I’ll just change out of my uniform then, be right back JongIn.”
Slightly uncomfortable with the stare of ChanYeol’s boss directed at her, JongIn fidgets with her loose shirt (another one of TaeMin’s she borrowed) and in the end bows 90 degrees. “Hello, I’m JongIn. ChanYeol’s, eh, friend.” She had just been about to say girlfriend but that would probably have been a bad idea. “You remind me of my nephew. Stupid little fool he is. Actually I’m pretty sure he was wearing a shirt like that the last time I saw him.”
“Is this possibly a Lee TaeMin?” The older had a resemblance to her friend and when she nods with a small smile JongIn figures this must be the aunt that TaeMin always talks so fond of. Even though some of the things he says makes JongIn wonder about her level of gentleness. “I’m his best friend actually. We grew up together. It’s a wonder we haven’t met before, he always talks so fondly of you.”
“Are you sure it’s the same Lee TaeMin we’re talking about? He’s the spawn of Satan I tell you, always causing trouble for his old aunt here.” JongIn laughs as the older tells her about all of TaeMin’s misdeeds.
ChanYeol didn’t really expect to see JongIn laughing heartedly at something HeeChul must’ve said when she comes out from the backroom in her jeans and t-shirt. It’s quite disconnecting because HeeChul has this warm smile on her lips and it’s far from the professional smile ChanYeol is used to see.
“JongIn? I’m ready to go now.” JongIn startles and looks wide eyed over at ChanYeol before grinning and taking her shopping bag, waving goodbye to HeeChul. “See you Unnie.” ChanYeol hasn’t been that confused for a long time.
“She’s TaeMin’s aunt. ” JongIn says before grabbing ChanYeol’s hand and pulls her down the street towards the Groove.
JongDae is the first to arrive at the Groove, not an unusual occurrence, but the ones arriving next is and he’s pretty sure he should be saying something, anything really. “Uhm, hyung? Please say you recognize me, Baek noona didn’t.” The smallest one of them smiles uncertainly and his red hair falls into his eyes. JongDae hums in acknowledgement and then proceeds to stare at the taller of the two. “Yeah, yes. Please sit down. The others should be here soon.” Bewildered JongDae looks at his phone and prays that the others come quickly before he does anything embarrassing.
