Stupid holidays. My mom didn't devote a single day in her life to me. I don't see why I should care about her any more than she cared about me.

Hey, Jeff? Um... you're not allergic to spider-birds, are you? If it's a problem, I can... get someone else for Theo to stay with. I'd rather not, if I can keep him.

I never met my Mother. I often wonder what she was like and why she left, though. Sorry to hear yours wasn't so great, man.

Hey, if there's problems with Theo staying in your dorm, he could bunk with harley and me? I don't think there would be a problem with that so long as he doesn't chew up my roomies stuff.

I was going to ask you about it first, actually. I just need to know if it's a problem for Jeff first. He's really easy to handle.

Jeff just said he's fine with it, so... sorry, guess you're not getting another one.

Loving a family member shouldn't be about only giving what you get. I wish it were that easy. But I guess my opinion won't change your mind, huh?

I'm not allergic, don't worry. Just make sure he doesn't chew on any wires or other parts. For his safety, you know? Choking or electrocution sound like bad ways to go.

I don't think she counts as family if I've never even seen her face.

Oh, he's really well-trained. He stopped doing that when he was a baby.

O-of course she does.

That's a relief. Alright then, I have no problem with letting him stay here.

Why would she? She abandoned me for no good reason.

Like you care about helping me. You didn't care back in Gusty Gulch, and you don't care now.

Keep your ice cream.

How can you talk about your mother like that...?

She was never there. Literally. I don't know why I'd even call her mother. She hasn't done anything that makes her one.

Family doesn't stop being family just because they go away.

It's not going away if they were never there in the first place. I might as well have just popped into the world out of nowhere.

I understand if you feel upset...but you shouldn't be completely hateful toward your mother.Sshe gave you life after all and it's possible that she was in a situation that would of prevented her in giving you a good life if she raised you herself.

Oh, so she left me alone the second she could so I could have a good life! Now I get it. I'm so thankful. I couldn't possibly have gotten where I am today without her.

Well when you put it that way....

Perhaps your mother and you will cross paths someday...and she'll be able to explain everything. It's always possible.

You really think an explanation can make up for sixteen years?
