If you are local to LA and one of the "artsy people" and haven't been ( or just enjoy a nice walk ) I recommend taking a trip up to Forest Lawn to check out the statues. In that Comatose place between opened presents and too much candy and the second surge of Christmas energy so I'm playing photo catch-up again. Here are a few shots from my trip to the Getty Museum
One of the few enjoyable things we have found in this state is the Ruggles Mine. It is a family owned mine where you can mine an amazing deposit of minerals and precious stones. It is also beautiful simply to walk through the caves and end up covered in pixie dust, er mica dust.
