My Mom went into clingy mode when I left for college. It's kind of like when a friend moves away and you want to spend as much time with them as you can because you don't know when you'll be able to next.

I might come to a track practice or two this week :-)
which ones are the "good" days?

P.S.
It's effing freezing up here. I can't believe I used to run outside in this weather

I love you, dear. You're so talented.

I remember feeling that way before I left for college. Except right when I was feeling my guiltiest we found out my mom was pregnant so my fears about her empty nest syndrome dissipated pretty quickly. My mom and I are really close though so I still talk to her even when I'm not home. I tell her some of the stuff that's going on in my life (except about the time we got pulled over in D.C. with an empty bottle of rum in the backseat). It's one of those things, leaving, that just calls to mind all those things about how mothers and daughters have such complicated relationships and we can never escape...

On another note, I was outside PVI on Friday (waiting for my brother).

I'm glad I'm not leaving them to an empty house. There's still the chilluns at home.

And you didn't stop by the track?! Or call me!? Ninja please. You're obligated. Hahah
