Judging by current affairs in the hallway, I think that people who have really bad karma in their first life must come back reincarnated as beetles unlucky enough to cross paths with 8 month old puppies.

Speaking of beetles - did you know that southwestern Ohio is in the middle of some sort of crazy migratory pattern for lady beetles? We're starting to see a number of the cute critters.

Ooh, ladybug swarm season. That's always fun. It's impossible to keep them out of the house during that season.

We have learned that the cat has a specific "I am watching a bug crawl across your rug, considering whether to eat it" pose.
