Hm... well I can't leave a comment on the other one so I might as well write something here. Thank you for letting me know that you're still reading. I often wonder if anyone sees all these silly journal entries, or if I'm just writing for myself. I don't really mind the thought that I'm the only one who sees what I write, but I do like the thought that an old friend might stumble on my words and feel a connection.
Life isn't always sunshine and roses. Most of the time it's cloudy, rainy, and stinks like the overwhelming odor of durian or the more common fleshy seed coat of a female ginko tree. (confused? Check out this link: http://www.ehow.com/info_7983281_do-ginkgo-tree-berries-stink.html )
I tend to keep a journal to motivate me. If I have to find something to write about every week, I'm more likely to seek out interesting opportunities and find the silver lining on a never-ending gray cloud.
Litespeed snuck around the no comments, so I will too. ;) What you don't realize, Meg, is that those of us teaching ourselves programming languages, etc (and I never clean house for fun) also feel the exact same way a lot of times
( ... )
Really, nowuwrit? Well, actually, maybe I like these little posts, too. At least Meg is interacting with us LJ folk. It gets kinda lonely over here sometimes.
