Woah, two shout-outs in one post!

Here's to prom pictures! (I went shopping for the perfect art deco earrings this evening and ran into my APEng teacher at the Marcus Dairy.)

And here's to ice cream! (Including dinner at the M.D., I've had ice cream FIVE times in the last FIFTY-TWO hours! Hehee!)

And of course you're excited about college -- I am, too! Though decidedly less so since... two weeks ago's occurrence... and other recent developments... of which you may or may not be aware... *sigh* Such is life -- "Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone?!" Actually, it'd be funnier if Disney had no intention of doing so, but it still came across that way, despite Disney's best efforts to put nothing in their videos that might "corrupt" children *gaspshockhorror* despite the fact that there most certainly are transgender 5-year-olds out there. But I should point out: please do not confuse gender identity with sexual orientation. There's a world of difference. Wikipedia it for more detailed info, but basically, sexual orientation (straight, bi, gay, etc.) refers to who you're attracted to. Gender identity (which includes the conditions of being transgender or bigender) refers to what gender you personally identify with, as in, what gender you think you are. This in turn is independent of your physical or genetic gender. Transgender people - people born one gender who identify with the other - sometimes elect to get a sex-change operation (making them transsexuals) to make their gender identity and their physical gender match up.
