Kikki, the little girl kitten in "Snot Stew". If you never read this book as a child, I am sorry for you. See, the kids in this family argue all the time: "Is not!" "Is too!" Is not! Is too! Isnot! Istoo! 'Snot! 'Stoo!

Best name for an intelligent female kitty: Sphinx!

If Tina's into TLK, you could name her Nala, hehee!

You could name her after one of the kittens in Ursula Le Guin's "Catwings" books.

I'll let you know if I come up with any others!

(And, you know, I just have to point out, that you could name your kitty Spangle... *self-satisfied grin*)

I didn't read it... I guess I was a deprived child. But we already know that, as illustrated by my Disney experiences (or lack thereof.)

Nala! I was trying to remember her name. I'm making a document of all the names I can think of, and naturally I listed all my favorite Disney princesses. =D

I didn't put Spangle, but I did put Sparkle.

If the kitten is black, Behemoth is another name from literature. :) Or you could always go with a T.S. Eliot cat name.

*grin* Grendel.
or Caliban... though he wasn't very cat-ish.
sorry, my names always come from Shakspeare... or I guess in this case the Christian Poet(?) who wrote Beowulf.
few more:
Hecate
Prospero
Oberon
Puck
Narissa
Ophelia

....I guess it really depends on what your cat looks like. I just find all of these names perfect for different personalities.
So how has your summer been?

Ooooh, Shakespearian names! An excellent idea - thank you!

Lovely, thank you! I did nothing for a couple weeks, and now work is getting in gear so now I can make some $$! And tis very nice. Basically, nothing doing, which is exactly how I want it - rest up and get ready for the fall, which will murder me. And how are you?
