it's more painful waiting for the main, main cast, isn't it x__x; SO WAIT, WHEN ARE THE DVDs DUE OUT? is there a set date?

Anyways, the thing about Funimation dubs is that they're ... okay. My overall opinion of the dub work they do is 'well, that was... satisfactory.' Another thing is, they use the same actors over and over again. While that can be interesting some of the time, other times it gets a little exhausted. When I first heard that Ouran was being dubbed, I was quite perturbed because I knew I'd be hearing the same voices I heard in Fruits Basket and FMA and every other Funimation-dubbed show I'd seen...

Well, since I'm that way, I figure I'll probably like hearing it now. That is to say, I like hearing Japanese voice actors I know in different places... 8D err, it shouldn't be different with American voices. I was quite shocked and horrified when I first heard Ouran was being done by Funimation, but by now I've relaxed. I'm just hoping for the best now and trying not to be too pessimistic x_x;; Actually, it's turned out

Yea, dubbing is always super scary, especially with a show like Ouran that is complete and utter perfection in Japanese, haha.

I haven't watched many dubs except for like Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which is an amazing dub, btw, and so yea... THE POINT IS I've never heard a Funimation one--cept for the odd Furuba episode (I still haven't watched all of them in Japanese or English, lmaoo) so I won't be hearing the same voices. BUT LET'S CROSS OUR FINGERS! If it sucks, we can pretend it doesn't exist and we'll get Japanese on ~DVDs~ I don't know when they come out... it better be soon. >:O
