Re-watching the extended editions of Lord of the Rings with Beth. No matter how much I liked seeing certain aspects of the books that had been left out, I do have to concede that some of the scenes added back in do tend to drag or tangle the narrative in this format, and I could do without. Not that I'd complain about more of the pretty. Physical

Feets might tolerate this. He's a persnickety cat. He wants love and smushes only on his own terms. I usually force love on him anyway.

see, i like cats, but im a dog person. i kinda need to be worshiped and adored by my pet. i heard its a weakness. but i figure for the price of food and a roof i better get some fucking love. the kind that leaves hair on my clothes. i always feel like im forcing myself on my cats and they're all like "....bitch, you've got two seconds to get away or i'm scratching the fuck out of you. fair warning."

still, my neighbors trying to get rid of her kittens and im getting so weak even though i know tobias will terrorize the poor thing and have it traumatized and permanently under a coach in less than a year.

If it's a kitten, it'll grow accustomed to terrifying small children. Then it'll be Tobias' best friend. Probably.

I'm biased because I'm a cat person. I like dogs and all, and some day I want one of those, but mostly I want a pet that's not all up in my face 24/7. Sure, you're happy to see me, I'm happy to see you, we played a little and then cuddled, and now it's time for you to do your thing while I do mine.
