Love it! I think it's kinda neat how Clay reminds Jacoby of what Jon and Jacoby reminded him. Can't wait for more! :)

love this. great pace to the narration, and i especially love how you remind us of the past without overdoing it - just enough to key the reader back in to your 'verse. clay's grown up a lot, and rightly so. jon is as wonderful as always - his wisdom and insight hits the proverbial emotional highnote at the close of this part, which brings me back to my point about pacing. great work. on to part two ...
