Guess Jacoby's not as oblivious as we all thought, is he?

About damn time, wouldn't you say? ;-) Dear sweet Clay deserves some happiness, right?

Thanks for sticking with this. It's greatly appreciated.

Thank you, that really warms my heart; I'm glad I could make you happy. It makes me feel kind of bad now, though, because I think this is it for Clay, Jon, Jacoby and Josh. Time to draw the final curtain and bid them farewell.

a happy ending! YAY! ::wild applause::

jacoby is wonderful, i love him gritting it out, pretending he's ok, knowing there is no way he can fake past the guys. i love that josh gets an in-charge moment so that he can't make it worse. gorgeous.

i love how you convey clay's bravery, and jacoby being so matter-of-fact about everything. these guys really have been through a lot at this point, they feel like family (perhaps not the best metaphor, considering all the sex).

so glad things could wrap up happily for the crew. i adore them as much as you do, i think.

nice work, you.

Keep these guys in your stories!! love_baseball June 14 2011, 14:21:57 UTC
What a wonderful story! I had only found part I, but now there's more. Ellsbury, Bucholz, and Lester are the hottest players and my favorites.
Don't think there aren't readers out there - it took me weeks to 'get it' how to comment. If the muse strikes again, I'd love to see you add Jed Lowrie, Daniel Bard, and catcher Jarrod 'Salty' to the mix. I saw Salty give Lester a beautiful cheek-to-cheek LONG hug in the dugout the other day after Jon had finished pitching. Salty had a really sweet smile on his face. Thanks again and keep writing.

Thanks so much! I'm very glad you liked, and thanks for the encouragement. :-)

I don't know if you've gone back through my fics, but I've written a massive amount on Buchholz, Lester, Ellsbury, Beckett, Kottaras, and yes, Lowrie too. Do you know how to search back via tags?

(Sorry this is a late response - I had computer troubles for a couple of days.)
